VR Gamers, how high are your ceilings?

I have low ceilings in our basement where my PC is. I accidentally banged it a couple of times doing VR when trying to shoot things that were above me. Have any of you had the same problem and how have you dealt with it? I have plenty of x and y space (horizontal). It's the z space that's the problem!

I'm wondering if playing in my office chair (wheeled) might work. I'd try spinning around as needed for facing. This might be a serious problem with shooters, though. I might always register as crouching.

Interesting issue. My ceilings are at least 8 feet I guess. I'm 6'3" and never had this problem. Some of my games require me to raise my hands above my head for climbing.

I have done it all:

Bruised my knuckles while smashing into the roof (I am in the attic with a sloped roof and beams), smashing into my desk, slapping drinks over my keyboard or onto the ground.
Ive even dived into the closet where I keep my tools (right behind me) trying to evade stuff in game.

So, yeah, if you want to use roomscale make sure you have enough space around you, as you tend to drift away from the center without knowing and the guardian system often is too late to warn you.

   Haven't had that problem.  I could get a pretty high space set up and maybe build some kind of harness/suspension system.  I wonder how the games would interpret swinging wildly all over?  Maybe I should just build the harness and skip the VR?  I might have to check on some kind of safety AI for that maybe.  Or maybe I'll stick to boardgames mostly.
