The last one I played was Anno 1404 and it was sublime.  Easily the best of the series to date.  It did what it did superbly while looking absolutely stunning and was packed with character.  I loved it, and it's one of the very small number of games I really miss now that I no longer use Windows.

I picked that up years ago, shortly after it came out.  It had a different name in North America, though.   Don't recall what it was.

Whoa. Cool items within.

I popped it open for a little bit very early this morning and poked around...lots of scenarios, looking forward to this. It's one of those series I am always prone to forgetting about.

I am enjoying the game even though it isn't very deep. Easy to pick up and play or an hour or two.

Anno 1404:DoD is a ton of fun. I always get too big and my citizens demands become more than I can keep up with. Then it all falls apart.
