Although I am not a big racing fan, but have seen others who seem to be, looks like an interesting sports management game is coming out for racing fans called motorsports manager from sega.  Below is trailer and due out in September.  Seems like you get to manage a racing team/career which may even interest me since I like most sports sims.

WTF is with that video? I'm not epileptic and I had to turn the damn thing off!

I would love a good F1 sim though. When they put out a proper video, I'll have a look!

Awful video but looks ace, with a bit of F1 modding can't wait day one for me....

Looks cool... in fact it looks a lot like a super version of Motorsport manager for the iPad... which would be a great thing.  O0

That mobile version looks pretty good, even for non race fans like myself....keeping tabs on this one

There is a basic early walk thru of the interface and some features on youtube also... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZcTjfdC2jd4

Bought the mobile version on the iPad. Its a fun game, but rather light.
Perhaps the PC version will be more advanced.

The premise is to manage your cash flow in such away that you can add another increment on a scale of the various things you need to make your car faster.
R&D, Car setup, Drivers, etc.

But its a fun game on the go.
"Pilots do not get paid for what they do daily, but they get paid for what they are capable of doing.
However, if pilots would need to do daily what they are capable of doing, nobody would dare to fly anymore."

Yeah, I bought the Android version.

Very light but enough to entertain on the go as you say.

Pity there's no auto rotate - given mobile phones and apps have been around for so long.

I was going to try the mobile, but I don't do much gaming on there...may just wait until PC release and hopefully more depth added.

Yet again, blaming JD....ended up pre ordering this.....thought it would be nice to be in role of managing versus being in the races themselves....

Downloading now....let's see how this goes....can't pass up a management game, even in a sport I know little about:)

Even though races don't demand constant attention, with speed controls and the ability to pause at any time, the fact that there are usually only three or four major decisions spread across the entire event magnifies the importance of every click
concerns me. It's what I found lacking in the Android version I bought.

I will leave this for the time being (as I've bought enough recently) and wait to see if it's fleshed out a bit...might take in some videos. I could always buy (eventually) and get a refund if it's not much deeper than the Android version.

I'd be very interested in what you see in the game...what appeals and where it's lacking (or not).  O0
