The description of the game bears a passing resemblance to the main thrust of Burden of Command. The graphics look interesting.

I bought it for my son as one of his Christmas presents and he posted a review on Steam.

All Quiet in the Trenches is a well crafted, semi-strategic game that lives up to its name and delivers what the developers promised. The well crafted personal stories of the soldiers you command provides a human connection to the soldiers you command, as you have to often decide between their well being and impressing your superior officer. The gameplay is easy to learn; the attributes of your soldiers make it so that you have to decide who will perform certain tasks, as well as what their combat roles will be. The combat is engaging, the decisions you make often decide whether your soldiers face danger, or if they remain safe, at the cost of letting down your lieutenant. The music is catchy, reminiscent of the score from the 1979 All Quiet on the Western Front film, and the sound design is impressive as well. While the game is short due to early access, All Quiet in the Trenches is a story that leaves you hoping for the survival of the characters', and has the same ideas featured in Erich Maria Remarque's All Quiet on the Western Front (1929), despite being an action related game.
