Yep, just heard the news an hour ago myself.  I especially enjoyed him in the films Maverick and My Fellow Americans.  RIP Mr. Garner.

So many great movies. One of my most recent favorites is My Fellow Americans. He and Jack Lemmon were absolute gold in that movie.

Damn. I feel old. Jim was great in, "A Fire In The Sky". I hadn't seen him in years before this movie and had forgotten how effortless he made acting seem. Also great in "Maverick" with Mel Gibson as one of the Mavericks.
