How very sad. I have been a big fan of ELP for many a year.

Now I shall have to listen to 'Tarkus' and 'Welcome Back My Friends'

One of my favorite prog groups.  ELP has been a staple in my ears since my teens.  Very sad to hear of his passing.  RIP

Just heard a report on the radio that it might have been a self inflicted gunshot. If so, how sad that he was unable to reach out to the folks who cared about him.  :(

Yeah, that seem to be the story that is unfolding.  :( Seems he was suffering from depression over a degenerative nerve issue in one hand that had sharply curtailed his ability to play, if you can believe TMZ.
