Hope you guys are as old as i think, because my Text basher is very old skool. its turn based and is quite fun, you are a dark lords messenger running erronds in a dungeon, but if you dont navigate to dungeon fast enough you will suffer, all the usual RPG stuff skills , stats, treasure, searching, random maps, fighting monsters
I am old enough to remember playing Adventure (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colossal_Cave_Adventure) on a PDP-11 back in college in the early 80s.

MH, sorry you took it that way, no bias was intended. :( Just because I stated I wasn't going to be interested, doesn't mean others wouldn't be. I think its great you are making games you want/like. I always liked programming, just never was able to come up with an idea/concept that I wanted to pursue.

I agree, leave it up for some time....it takes us a while sometimes to get to it....
My personal favorite text game was Bureaucracy, scripted by Douglas Adams (yes, the Hitchhiker's Guide guy). It was very funny. But 1987...a long time ago.

I remember one from decades ago...I think it was called Zork...? Had a lot of fun with it but would have no interest in it now.
