I will be very interested in how this develops.  Maybe a real replacement for Borders, etal.

This is kind of cool, but it reeks of 'overstock outlet.' I know the story says what they carry is based on demand, but still...

Amazon is the reason I stopped going to bookstores. Now they want me to go to one of their bookstores? Pass.

Having worked in both video and book stores, there's worse places to work. Customers suck, but employee discounts in both were nice.

Eh, it's a Starbuck's Cheesfactory (or whatever) with plenty of handy reading material. I'd hang there sometimes if I lived in a city.

Like music I'd certainly not have such a varied and vast collection if it had not been for the internet and Amazon. Most the CD's and books I have I'd never even heard of let alone bought.
