  So Wars across the World has lots of interesting scenarios.  I took the Aztec Empire against Cortez.  He advanced far too soon (AI prob I guess) and was heavily defeated at Texcoco where he probably should never have gone:

I like Wars Across the World's variety of scenarios, but I wish some of them were longer in turns.

I like Wars Across the World's variety scenarios, but I wish some of them were longer in turns.

  I might look into modding these.  The Aztecs won.  Montezuma survived and Cortez never got to Tenochitlan and the Aztecs built a fleet to control the lake so that sort of makes some kind of sense:
