Quake II is an absolute must-play classic.  Does this version change the gameplay at all?  Or is it strictly a shader update?

If they made nothing but WWII games, I'd be perfectly content.  Hypothetical matchups from alternate history 1980s, asymmetrical US-bashes-some-3rd world guerillas, or minor wars between Upper Bumblescum and outer Kaboomistan hold no appeal for me.

I guess it's sort of nice that the word "tactical" seems to refer to some kind of seriousness during your moments of mental clarity.

thanks and grabbed it. But it's running horribly on my rig for some reason. No doubt the ray tracing tech.
Changed renderer from RTX (ray tracing) to openGL in options and runs like a charm.

NOTE that this RTX version is just a DEMO. Took me about 25 minutes to finish it.
