The man was a crusher; feared, and always respected.

Back before the 'timeout for commercials' had been invented, and NFL football was a different sport.

Damn that's sad news. Back in the 60-70's defense wasn't cool but Butkus made it so. One of my all-time favorite to watch players in the NFL. Rest In Peace Mr. Butkus.
