Title: Trader's Remorse
Post by: Jarhead0331 on February 21, 2012, 10:53:31 AM
This weekend I traded a really nice, like-new Springfield Armory M1A with a ARMS mount and Springfield Armory 10x56mm Rifle Scope for a Preban AR15 in the A2 configuration and a CMP M1 Garand manufactured circa 1951.  I wanted an AR in the M16A2 config. for awhile and since trading my own Garand to a divorce attorney for some legal advice, I've wanted to add another one back to my collection.

Although I believe the trade was fair from a financial perspective, that SA M1A is a lot of rifle.  I've got another one that is much nicer than the one I traded, but still...can't help but feel a little depressed today.  :-\

I'll post pics of the new rifles tonight.

I don't own a single gun, but it's not hard to sympathize!

Well, I own a few, and JH you have my sympathy. Wish I had the cash to have bought some. At least you'd know they went to a good home.
