We should switch to lasers

Like seriously I can't find a single con against them. They're more precise then any bullet, undetectable, lethal, silent, VERY cheap (to fire anyway), handy and literally allows a single Infantry squad to deploy an Anti-Aircraft battery in a minute.

Lasers can't shoot over terrain features or over the horizon. Right now you also need a massive and heavy power supply to run them.

And there we go. There are some cons to lasers. I guess you could arc it over a hill or something with Light refraction, but there'd have to be a random mirror floating in the sky. A drone maybe?

Maybe enough battery life in the laser to shoot down one small drone, like a Hand-launched recon drone. 2 together might be able to blind a pilot and 3 could take down a fighter, maybe?
