Toonces - Don't ask me, I just close my eyes and take it.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

You know, I realise that engineering has come a long way, everything is more reliable.  Cars, trains, planes.
But whenever I see these AAW destroyers, there's a cringe that they always seem to sport only one gun.
The World War II 5"/38 could take green water down the barrel and still salvo.
The 5"/54 was great when it worked.  There was an exercise that everyone called a John Wayne shoot, where the gun fired at full auto for a minute.  Could be utterly spectacular.  If the crew and loaders were in synce, the gun could put out about 40 rounds a minute.  Would take out any kamikaze it faced.
But the damn things had too many moving parts and after five years were just too damn fragile.  The first class of destroyers with the 5"/54 had three turrets.  Then they were reduced to two with an Asroc box.  Now all of the ships seem to only have one main battery.  Scary.

During filming of Airplane, Leslie Nielsen used a whoopee cushion to keep the cast off-balance. Hays said that Nielsen "played that thing like a maestro"

"With your eyes closed?"
"That helped."  Lauren Bacall
