Pics have appeared on a Chinese military blog suggesting that they are in possession of an Apache helicopter.

Hopefully they acquired it with Windows 8 and fully loaded with bloatware

Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

Im going to go with movie prop.

Yeah, The Peoples Film Board is probably going to use the prop  for a 'Wolverines!' moment where some heroic PLA grunt shoots down a threatening Japanese Apache with an RPG while his squaddies all cheer.

1. thats not a military flatbed.
2. thats not how I imagine an Apache would be transported.  the rear wheel is gone and theres no effort to support the frame so its sitting level.

The nose and canopy don't look quite right to me.

The nose looked off to me, too, but you guys have much better eyes for detail than I do.

Wait, wait, wait...you mean some movie about America invading China? Wouldn't they start wringing their hands worrying about offending Americans and change the invader to, say, Puerto Rico?

the military would have transported it in a box, or under a canvas with poles erected to alter the shape into something heavy industrial like a powerplant transformer, chem reactor, industrial oven or such...

The tail rotor of the helicopter in that photo has a 'cross' type shape, which has 90 deg angles.   A picture of a US Apache helo has a tail rotor with a 'X' type of shape ( <90 deg angles).

I'll throw it by the old Merlin pilots this week and see what they observe.
