Title: Cat's in the FRIDAY
Post by: JudgeDredd on April 20, 2018, 01:02:20 AM

A wee downer for you to start the weekend off.

My F1 2017 career has continue through Azerbaijan and next up is the Red Bull Ring in Australia. I think that's what will be on my radar.

If the weather is nice, I might buy a few beers and setup a boardgame outside. I don't know what - maybe Combat Commander Europe, one of my Leader games or maybe just get the rule book out for Target for Today and have a leisurely read.

I will also try and get my Airfix Vulcan completed. I've been putting off painting the beast.

Have a good weekend all.

Only knew the Ugly Kid Joe version of the song but this one sounds better.

Playing Studying DCS and enjoying the summer weather.

Playing the Knee Replacement campaign today, so probably not much gaming this weekend. Hopefully will get some good gaming in during 'rehab' period.

My old man had that done Tuna.

Your pretty much spot on that it sucks but the quality of life improvement is immeasurable.

Oh and good luck too!

Good luck Tuna! You having both done at the same time?

Spring will finally put in an appearance here so most of my time will be outside trying to catch up on the season's work.

Been itching to get some Steel Division 44 in so that's on the schedule.

Jena KS seems to be peaking...

Genesis VASSAL still going strong...

No, one. Don't know how the heck people can do two at the same time! You'd think you would one good leg while rehabbing the other. I don't know how long I'll wait to do the other.

Good luck Tuna.

Falling deeper in love with Field of Glory 2, playing as the Dacians now.

Also want to start a Domina campaign this weekend.

I bought myself an awesome charcoal bbq\smoker. Weekend filled with tandoori, mackerel and duck.

Gaming wise. CK2 as the new king of Carpathia

Good luck Tuna.  Dad had both done, but not at the same time.

Keep splitting time between Darkest Hour: HOI, CKII, and Stellaris.

Plus I think I'm going to try again to get into War in the East.

And I've got to pick up the rules to Der Welkrieg: Eastern Front and try the Tannenberg scenario.

Some fascist has messed up my ability to play Red Orchestra 2: Rising Storm / Heroes of Stalingrad (seriously, game won't load now - I've removed it and reinstalled it completely twice as well as updated graphic drivers and such and the damn thing worked a few days ago....grrr), so I'm stuck in Viet Nam for the time being. So, "yaahhh!"

Soooo, I've DL'ed Arma 3 and am looking long and hard at the Iron Front mod/&or purchase so I can get my Ostfront on.

Stay safe, folks, and have fun.

You just want to scarf down all of my food you pog.

Started out as a duke in hungary, used a favor of a king and married my son to his daughter. Then created some titles and gained the Kingdom Of Wallachia and Croatia. Now I'm just maintaing my empire and seeing if I can get my dynasty into Pomerania and Greece

I got my new Falcon this week.

I also am way behind in my grading.  IF I get caught up, I'm playing Pillars of Eternity.

Weather's supposed to be pretty nice so probably a lot of yard work and youth soccer will be in my future this weekend.

What time I do get will probably be spent with Monster Hunter World on PS4.

Good luck with the Knee-Job Tuna-- no Lap Dances until you're fully healed. Combat Mission: Red Thunder for me, the German Campaign: Blunting the Spear. I'm loving it--lots of tanks!  :D  Have a Groggy weekend everyone.

I've been playing Titan Quest lately, and will probably do a little bit in the evening.  I also really need to fire Decisive Campaigns Barbarossa back up.  Only a couple of turns into a game and haven't played in months.

More Far Cry 5 (finally killed John Seed). I picked up For the King, so I should try it out and see what I think. I might start up a new franchise in Franchise Hockey Manager. And a local math trade completed this week, so I'll be playing the 'meet up with people and trade board games' game. And maybe get War of the Ring on the table to try out, IF I get the rules read and the pieces sorted in time.

Hoping to do some steel division or total war arena as well. Depending on who gets on.

Wish you a speedy recovery Mr. Tuna.

Have a charity MS walk this weekend and the oldest boy is moving out tomorrow, and the weather is nice so the yard is calling. Had a gaming slump for a bit but that seems to be over. Will be tending to my PBEM games with a renewed enthusiasm.

Just started a Guns of August in TOAW4, lost everyone of my WW1 pbem games so far, hope to change that.

Playing Alesia as the Romans in FOG2, the Gauls just reached the walls.

AOW3 playing as the Dwarfs, haven't run into my pbem opponent yet, but the independents are giving my trouble. Lost my army twice already, man i suck at this game.

SCGC- playing as the Allies, taking it on the chin from the Japanese as they keep taking islands but there not moving against the Chinese. Nov 41 and i'm giving him a tough time in Russia, squirreled away 4 level 2 tank units and a couple of armies and kept them south of Moscow and hit him in the flank when he moved on Moscow bagged a HQ and an army. Battle of the Atlantic is still up in the air at this point, U-boats everywhere it seems.

SCWW2- Playing the Allies, June 44. I surprised him and landed in Europe in 43 to take the pressure off the Russians. One hex away from Paris and the Russian hordes are about 10 hexes from Warsaw, he done a good job of slowing me down but the Italians are about to fold and Yugoslavia just got liberated. This is a first run through for both of us, plenty of mistakes, but its been a lot of fun.

Playing Germans in a Panzer Korps scenario, getting creamed, money is running out with just 4 turns left and i'm 2 hexes from the map edge.....don't think i'll make the 4 turns.

For solo play i seem to be in an RPG mood, got 3 of them going.

Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition

Neverwinter Nights 2

And after reading Airboys excellent write up i purchased Underrail and i'm a couple of hours in and enjoying it.

Enjoy your weekend everyone.

Hey JD
The donation page is here https://www.nationalmssociety.org/Donate   I have personal connection with this cause and we turn in our donations in person before the walk.

As far as my gaming habits, well my gaming HDAD forces me to play a wide variety of games.Besides how else would i justify to myself my seemly endless appetite to buy games i in no way need, to add to my gaming queue long enough for two lifetimes.
