I still like the original Battlestar Galactica plot. I did not like the new reboot religious crap. The end of the reboot series was pathetic. The new show tanked once they decided to live on that stupid planet and give up running.  ::)
"My life is spent in one long effort to escape from the commonplace of existence."
-Sherlock Holmes

"You know, just once I'd like to meet an alien menace that wasn't immune to bullets."
-Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart

"There's a horror movie called Alien? That's really offensive. No wonder everyone keeps invading you!"
-The Doctor

"Before Man goes to the stars he should learn how to live on Earth."

You mean New Caprica? Still, you have to admit that seeing the Galactica hyper jump into the atmo over New Caprica, launch a bunch of fighters, and then jump back out just before impacting the planet surface was pretty bad-ass.

Also, wasn't there some religious crap in the first series as well?

Nothing really rocks and nothing really rolls and nothing's ever worth the cost...

"Don't you look at me that way..." -the Abyss

'When searching for a meaningful embrace, sometimes my self respect took second place' -Iggy Pop, Cry for Love

... this will go down on your permanent record... -the Violent Femmes, 'Kiss Off'-

"I'm not just anyone, I'm not just anyone-
I got my time machine, got my 'electronic dream!"
-Sonic Reducer, -Dead Boys

Yes, I loved the battles in the new Galactica series.  :)
There was a bit of religious crap in the original series but nothing like the reboot. The final five? Please.  ::)

Re: the new series-

Just curious: How many of you immediatly knew the real-life inspiration for shooting the climactic battle scene in the episode "Resurrection ship" from the vantage point of Apollo floating helplessly out in the open in his space suit?

(Not you Star, put you hand down, I already know you listened to all of Moore's podcasts...)

 O:-)

the back end of the reboot really suffered from the writers strike.
Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.
