^LOL.

I don't get it, why was there an explosion and what's the relation to the Burritos?
Is it supposed to be funny because Burritos have beans in them, that often lead to slight gastronomic problems?

Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

Sigourney is still damn hot.

oh and so's the Alien.

^^ That isn't far from what the stories in the 50s and 60s were like...  :))

Seriously, around 1968 when I was nine I read a Superman comic where Jimmy Olsen used his signal watch to summon Superman after he found roaches in his box lunch!

Superman dispatched the roaches with his heat ray vision, then told Jimmy he was right to call him because roaches carry diseases. Even as a kid, I knew calling Superman to kill bugs was ludicrous. Shortly after that comic, I discovered Spiderman and never looked back.

And God, I love the internet. I took a chance and Googled it and here you go:

If you liked those, you'll love this.  Some guy spoofed those ridiculous Silver Age DC comic covers and story lines by making his own whacky versions (taking time to spoof both marvel & dc characters).

I'm not that convinced these aren't actual silver age comics :P

^That was my first response as well. They are not any worse than the Jimmy Olsen/Superman/roaches strip.

MISTY KNIGHT: POWER GIRL!

I can't decide if that's my new favorite thing, or the "Many Lives of Ghost Rider".
ICEBREAKER THESIS CHRONOLOGY! -- Victor Suvorov's Stalin Grand Strategy theory, in lots and lots of chronological order...
Dawn of Armageddon -- narrative AAR for Dawn of War: Soulstorm: Ultimate Apocalypse

"What if Sue Storm Became the Thing?" -- kind of happened for several years in actual continuity (though it wasn't Sue).
