Heroes Straight from the Abyss
Legion IX introduces six unique heroes who have risen from the Abyss to conquer the mythical land of Avalon. Level up, gain skill points and unlock unique skill trees. Loot, equip and craft hundreds of artefacts and create the deadliest fighting force that has ever set foot on Avalon.
Wide variety of Abilities
Use unique skills, Ultimate Skills and World Abilities to overcome the toughest challenges during your quests in Avalon. Take risks and explore various tactical options as heroes don't face permanent death at the end of the missions. Not Built in a Day
Build up and expand the city of Nova Roma. Make sure that your stronghold has the right facilities for your heroes that prepare them for different quests. But beware! Resources are scarce and you have to manage Nova Roma thoughtfully to keep it afloat.
Regain your Humanity
Your decisions have far-reaching consequences, influencing both gameplay and narrative. Through your actions, Gaius will either restore his humanity, or forever be transformed into a demon.
I've known about this, as I really enjoyed Knight's Tale...thought this was DLC for that game? Either way I will be getting this as I enjoy Neocore's games and I love the history involved here.

Pretty cheap, although stand alone seems more like expansion/dlc. Estimated play time was 15-30 hours, which isn't horrible for that price.
Will be purchasing later. For anyone interested, the game bundle (with Knight's Tale) is less expensive than buying the game on its own...15.29 vs 17.99. I'll have a spare Knight's Tale key for anyone interested. Knight's Tale is very good.

Bundle is only that price if you previously own the original title. So for new people, believe the bundle is more like $31. Although fanatical does have it for $15.99.
I thought the series took a drastic nosedive after the original title...but I must say, taking on the role of the commander of an undead Roman Legion? Sounds positively awesome.
The sequel to the original King Arthur by NeoCore (King Arthur II - The Role Playing Wargame) was not received well. I loved the original but never bought the sequel.
King Arthur - A Knight's Tale is fun, detailed and innovative in many spots. Definitely give it a try if you enjoy the lore.
King Arthur - Legion IX is a subject I have always been fascinated with and NeoCore will really have to screw it up for me not to enjoy it. High hopes for this one.
