One of the more interesting looking Ukraine conflict inspired games.  This one looks like a mix between Advance Wars for GBA and something a bit more groggy like Squad Battles.  It's quite cheap and the profits purportedly go straight to Ukraine.

I'll almost certainly bite the $2 bullet so I'll let the groggies know what I think.

If they made nothing but WWII games, I'd be perfectly content.  Hypothetical matchups from alternate history 1980s, asymmetrical US-bashes-some-3rd world guerillas, or minor wars between Upper Bumblescum and outer Kaboomistan hold no appeal for me.

I guess it's sort of nice that the word "tactical" seems to refer to some kind of seriousness during your moments of mental clarity.

Nice, it's a charity project and is even on discount now. Looks a bit like a tower defense game. Going to get it!
