Not getting it until I hear of reviews this time around. I have learned my lesson from Homeworld3.
The original space marine was "ok", but I would not say brilliant and this one looks similar to me. So I am not sure it is worth the asking price.
A little like Star Citizen trailers in comparison to Mechwarrior Clans trailers. The MWC trailers just seem bland. THus it is with Space Marine 2. I am expecting a mediocre campaign and mediocre multiplayer.
Is the campaign coop? That may make the difference.

Plus the whole 40k Custodes thing put me off a from 40k a little. I was expecting the youtuber Astartes to turn 40k around and make it like his videos. I have not seen anything like that since his videos were taken down.

Am I being too negative or just smart?

From what I've researched so far this will be a must buy for me.  Not sure if I will be able to pick it up on release day but I will be getting this game for sure.

He got a free copy this time around  iirc which he said almost never happens because he is honest in his videos. Also he has not finished the campaign I don't think? But mainly did coop missions. Which says to me the whole campaign is not coop like I was hoping it was.
Have to say I am not a great fan of the way primaris armour looks. The captains especially remind me of bloodbowl nfl players.
He also could not remember imperial guard as a faction. He confessed he is no 40k expert. I'd call that basic knowledge of the hobby myself. Thus even if he liked the game he is less well equipped to judge it.

I don't always agree with him, but I do believe he is honest with his reviews.
