If you were a special operator, and had the choice of personal weapon- what would you choose? I've been mulling this over (not that I am in ANY danger of EVER becoming a special operator or going back into the Army... I'm almost 55 and fat as a whale).
I like what I'm seeing on the Bushmaster/Remington ACR/XCR; as I'm a leftie (and not just politically). But wondering what people thought related to the SCAR type rifle, versus the AR-15 or AK type?
I'm also liking the thought of going heavy. When I was in the Canadian Army (Reserves) we used the FNC1, a 7.62 semi-auto. I like the thought of being able to reach-out a little farther and hit a little harder.

What about a CZ Bren?

...special operator, urban environment, cramped vehicles, 'semi' concealed carry,...
Take a look at the HK MP 7
short, no recoil, below 2kg, 40 round mags, defeats 1,6 mm Titan plate plus 20 layers of kevlar @200m
I have a Bushmaster ACR. I would recommend against it.
Look at anything shooting .300 Blackout. I'm falling in love.
Good to know!
Bushmaster AAC 300 Blackout?
Keep it simple - Colt or other quality AR carbine, and a Glock 19.
Took 40Jr to the range on the weekend. Shot a Tavor, a Jericho, and a Sig P320. First time shooting a bull pup. Can't say that I like it. Much prefer an AR. The Jericho and 320 were sweet.
