I remember being in high school and thinking, "I can't wait to get to college and the 'real world'."

Needless to say, I found college profoundly disappointing. And that was 27 years ago when the sense of entitlement didn't run quite so deep as it does today. It isn't much better in the work world either.

Whenever I get independently wealthy, I'd like to go back to college and live in a nearby apartment while auditing classes. Not for testing purposes so much as just classes that seem interesting. I loved college.
