ALLLL the modern D&D at Gamersgate this week: $21 total!

It's Atari Week at Gamersgate, and the biggest deal is no doubt the three mega-collections of modern Dungeons and Dragons games, from Balder's Gate 1 onward, available for a sum total of $21.

That's an insane amount of D&D RPG. BG1 and its expansion. BG2 and its finale. Icewind Dale 1 & 2. Planescape Torment. Temple of Elemental Evil. Neverwinter Nights 1 and all its official expansions (the Platinum pack). NWN2 and all its official expansions.

I'm unsure how patched up these all are, and God knows some of them needed patching out the wazoo. (NWN1's Platinum pack features all the patches up to its release but that was several years ago.) But there isn't a loser in the bunch, except maybe ToEE.

All the Master of Orions happen to be for sale this week, too, incidentally, along with Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 Platinum and an eclectic mix of other thingies. (Total Annihilation but not its expansions? WTH??)





(In completely unrelated news: if anyone cares in the least about Europa Universalis games, they're all on sale, too, today for the Ides of March deal, 75% off. That's a lot of crushing your enemies before you and hearing the lamentation of their pixels, too. {g}

I honestly don't know if I've ever seen a deal this extensively good before: sheer amount of quantity and quality on a per-dollar basis.

Almost as insane is that most of the singles and expansion packs are available for only a dollar less each than the compilation packs. Which tells us how much of the compilation cost is overhead and how much is the value of the games/expansions per se.
