Messerschmitt

Tricky one. Messerschmitt built a lot of aircraft though I'm sure if you ask civilians who lived through The Blitz they will primarily think of the Bf109 just as the name Heinkel will conjure up the He111. Perhaps aircraft names should be excluded unless they represent only one particular type and it's variants. otherwise we will get lost in names such as Hawker, Gloster, Junkers, Lockheed, Boing, Curtis, Mikoyan, etc.

Yes, you are right. I think my intention is where an inventors name is used as a generic term for a particular type of weapon.

How about 'Sir Herbert Arbuthnot Blunt-Instrument'  :)

you ask a layman to name a German WW2 plane and theyre going to say Messerschmitt.  we know more but most people dont.  its that recognition that makes it iconic.  ;)
Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

I'm obviously losing my touch. Not so much as a 'tee hee' out of any of ya. And I thought it was hilarious.

There again, you all know that I have an ingrowing sense of humour.

the Mirth.

No peacetime weapons- just those wielded in anger.

You obviously don't know the women in my life.
