The journey is over, Rapture has been delivered from evil. Images from the journey.

Ha...I'm right there right now with Bioshock. I couldn't earlier tonight figure out how to get into the damned theater, but I'll get back to it tomorrow.

Flying my PMDG 737 NGX from Pittsburgh to Boston. Thanks to a few good You Tube Videos, a good check list, I can get from point a to point b. Still shaky with the FMC, but I got home! Kind of wish it had a GPS or map, so I could see where I was physically was during the flight, but the navigation work anyways.. I guess next time I could go to 'above' outside view and zoom way out, that would give me my position.

To add the GPS to the PMDG 737

Open up the Panel.cfg File

You can add the GPS to your plane by doing the follwoing:

After the latest window definition, add a new line like this:
windowXX=GPS
(where XX is the window number)

For example:
[Window Titles]
....
Window05=PFD
Window06=EWD
Window07=GPS

You now need to add a new section if the file. You can place it wherever you want,
I suggest that you create it at the end of the file.
Move to the end of the file and add the following lines:

[Window07]  <- Named after the number you enter above
Background_Color=0,0,0
size_mm=456,378
window_size=0.5
position=8
visible=0
ident=GPS_PANEL
gauge00=fs9gps!gps_500, 0,0

No prob.. if you wanted it to work with your Shift+ 1-9 numbers you can rearrange the windows... replacing Window02 for example with the gps and hitting Shift+2 to access it.  This would save you from having to go to the menu to access the gps panel.

Had a Root Canal this morning.. So afterwards treated myself to REX addon for FSX..

B17 round the world trip continuing.. India to Hong Kong

Few shots in the 737

Have a lot to learn about setting it up, but overall it's kind of cool.. Through trackIR special buttons like pause or center don't work, cause REX runs first.. I'm wondering if Air Haulers runs first on it's own.. would REX work with it..

Just finished building my new rig and installing Windows 7 etc etc.   I foresee some of my future flight sim screenshots looking much better.   8)

Dude, don't add the GPS to the PMDG 737!  Learn to fly the plane the right way, the way the pros do it!  That's why you spent the big bucks on the plane in the first place.

I'm seriously considering picking up the PMDG 777.  Man, it looks so sweet.
