That's in Okinawa, right? What did you use for source materials? Are there plans out there of all the airport building layouts? Do you use Google Earth and snapshots of buildings taken by tourists and such?

Wow good eye.  This is Naha Airport in Okinawa.  I use Bing Maps in Overlay Editor (X-Plane scenery creation tool) to place the objects, then import them to World Editor (another scenery tool) for the other stuff.

The buildings are generic X-Plane artwork so it won't be the real thing.  Just followed the shape.
I have a buddy who does 3D modelling for our airports.  Might get him to do the actual 3D model of the terminal.

Just a lucky guess since one of the screenshots has 'Naha' along the runway.  ;)

I've wanted to do a couple of the airports near my home (all small ones) so I'm curious how it's done. Back in the FS95 days I tried to figure that stuff out but was always intimidated by the complicated process for making scenery and airports.

Been playing some Rise of Flight on a couple of days off. Here's a shot from a very nice user-made campaign called the Spider Web. My Felixstowe lifts from Felixstowe flying-boat station at the start of a long patrol over the North Sea.
