NOt that he was a drinker, but Gerry Ford could have held his own with Boris.
Affectionately known as "Snowbunny" (his Secret Service codename - according to Doonesbury), he was a danger on golf courses, as he consistently struck people in the gallery with errant golf drives.
HIs best trip was to France.  Coming out of Air Force One, he tripped on the top step and tumbled down the entire stairway.
Unfazed, but a little ragged, he then went over to the Ambassador of Spain and addressed him as the President of France making sure that his country was a great friend to the US, made a short speech to the goggle-eyed throng on the important nature of the NATO alliance (which France had withdrawn from), entered the Secret Service limo (not his official one with the US flags), and drove off leaving Pompideau, the ministers of France, Europe, and England, in collective shock.

Think this trumps Boris.

He said he had the flu.  That's what I would say if I hurled on the Japanese PM.
Or maybe he bumped his head or something.

I've bumped my head a few times. Would have been glad to testify before congress - unless I had covered up the Benghazi thing. Then I'd probably be bedridden.
