I didn't even know that Electrolux made dryers! A couple of years ago we finally got rid of a canister vacuum from Electrolux that was running in one family house or another for the last 40 years

All the machines in this review are front loaders.

My first efficiency washer and dryer set was by Samsung.  Total piece of crap.  Broke down a after a little over 2 years of ownership.  Extended warranty from Lowes didn't cover us at all because they claimed that since the main gear or whatever broke on the washer that it couldn't be fixed in the field.  Because it couldn't be fixed in the field no replacement for the washing machine was offered.

Took me 6 weeks of constant phone calling and emailing until Lowe's finally gave me 200 bucks for my trouble.

That was back in 2015.  So I then bought an Electrolux from a mom and pop hardware store and that thing has been running like a champ ever since.  I eventually threw out the Samsung dryer, even though there was nothing wrong with it, and bought the matching Electrolux dryer.

So the washing machine cleans clothes in 1 wash.  The dryer however takes two 45 minute cycles to dry clothes.  Nothing is wrong with the ventilation of the dryer and the filter is never clogged when I start a new job.  Wish I had my old Kenmore top loader dryer.

Quote from: al_infierno on December 08, 2023, 11:16:11 PMRelated to the previous discussion, but if this statistic is true (and I have no reason to disbelieve it) then this is utterly frightening. About 1 in 5 Americans under 30 believe the Holocaust is a myth or exaggerated.

Been away for a few days so sorry for the late response.

This is truly sad.

Campaign Series Vietnam:    The Vice turned out to be a pretty fun scenario. It's not a large battle, just a couple battalions that one is operating with, but it turned out to be a lot of micro decisions that impacted the entire scenario. That was a blast! It was fascinating to see how just a hiccup or two can throw plans out the window. Small unit tactics were essential for this scenario - and one more praise for all the extra support the US and South Koreans had to help with the battle!

Hi Jason - Do you plan on backfilling the AI mods you reviewed at the start to the other scenarios?

That is the plan, yes!

I'm pretty sure they'll get a funding deal done.  If we can keep the Ukrainians supplied with arty shells, they can fight on defensively for a long time.  It's not as dark as it might seem.  But the reality of Ukraine recapturing their land with some sweeping offensive like Kharkov last fall is not happening.

In hind sight, I'm wondering if the zaporizia front was a mistake, like Hitler at Kursk.  Those mobile reserves could do some damage on the avdivka pincers in a counter attack role, plus no mine fields to deal with.

It's just so fucking depressing. And what's so infuriating and depressing about it is - why? Why even fucking bother for these last 2 years. If you're not committed, why drag this out.

Putin is sitting rubbing his hands with glee. He knew the West wouldn't hold, and sure enough, here it comes.

Putin has plenty of expendable, cheap war resources - humans. Ukraine does not.

This is the one war since the first Gulf War I actually believed the West should get involved in.

I think the days of standing up to tyranny died with the leaders of WWII.

Not my war...fuck it.

^Yes! That is a great game. I almost finished it but, if I remember correctly, hit a bug that stopped me  :headscratch:

Have you ever seen this one? Seems somewhat similar, but from the French point of view.  Valiant Hearts: The Great War / Soldats Inconnus : MĂ©moires de la Grande Guerre  $3.74 right now! https://store.steampowered.com/app/260230/Valiant_Hearts_The_Great_War__Soldats_Inconnus__Mmoires_de_la_Grande_Guerre/
