Got to be honest, IL2 has the best VR implementation of any combat sim, I very much like the flight models as well but the terrain is absolute garbage.  The duplications and boring textures making flying any amount of time impossible for me.   All of their maps looked the same, Kuban was a little better but still suffered from the lack of variation and I could tell it was an IL2 map.   I fear Korea might be the same, while the screenshots on the site look great only a couple show the terrain and it looks like a duplicate of the other IL2 games.  They need more variation in ground textures and colors otherwise it's going to suffer the same IL2 feel I have with their current games.

I wish I could take everything about IL and simply add in the DCS maps :)   At least for me the maps are what make or break the game and what keeps me coming back to one over the other.

I'd have preferred not seeing that  The pilot gliding across the ground was disturbing.  The left arm of the pilot in the cockpit was downright creepy.  If they focus on flight model and plane graphics it could bring me back into flight Sims after 20 years away.

In light of the comparisons to Mig Alley, I thought some might enjoy this recent review of that old game:
