SC War in the Pacific. Really liking the new changes. Finally some naval tweaks.

Dominions 6 MP games. Chaos diplomacy.

Still trying to get my second successful run on Slay the Spire....that game is dopamine.

Starting a MP game with Tanaka of Strategic Command War
Pacific.

Revisiting Pillars of Eternity having run into a wall with a difficulty spike in Baldurs Gate 3 and really enjoying it....Hoping I can get further than my first couple of attempts despite it being the dreaded "real time with pause" again   :hair:

Well instead of playing Hex of Steel all weekend I broke down and started playing Mankind (bought at Steam Summer Sale).  Enjoying it so far.  This is NOT a Civ clone.  Mechanics are much different and seem more complicated (although that may be due to me playing Civ1 through 5 for thousands of hours).

Played into the Classical Era and may restart now that I have a tentative grasp on the mechanics of the game.  Only recently discovered you could build a 'mine' on a strategic material location without having your city near it.  Still has to be within your territory.

I got Mankind during the recent Steam sale and got a refund after a couple hours of play.  I just couldn't get into it.  I agree with you that some of the mechanics are overly complicated.  Or maybe it was just my 73 year old brain not wanting to deal with it.   :undecided:  :idiot2:

Well I couldn't be bothered with doing the tutorials but my brain is only 68 years old!

I did a search on Steam for "mankind" (without the quotation marks) and didn't see anything that looked like a 4X.

What should I type in the Steam search bar to find the game you folks are talking about?
