During filming of Airplane, Leslie Nielsen used a whoopee cushion to keep the cast off-balance. Hays said that Nielsen "played that thing like a maestro"

Got to be real.  Not only is the plane's tail shadow on ground and car/bus but it's reflection shows up in the sign on the far right after it exits screen.  That's a lot of effort for a fake.
