Surface pro 3, game scanned Charts you can draw on with pen to play

I was looking at star fleet battles charts and SSDs etc... and realised if I scanned the charts instead of printing them, and loaded my surface pro 3 with them in a drawining app, I can use the pen to write all the stuff on them as I play, this avoids printing all together. :)
