Henry Ford was having such a hard time at the very beginning of his enterprise, that he would give free rides to guys coming out of bars.  Anything to sell more Model A's and replace the horse.
An old tradition.

I used to know a girl that dressed up like a Girl Scout. She had some good cookies too.
