Steely Dan co-founder & gitarist Walter Becker died on Sunday, his official website announced. He was 67. The website did not provide information about the cause of death. His Steely Dan partner Donald Fagen previously said Becker would miss concerts while he recovers from an unspecified procedure. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, and release their first LP in 1972.

Steely Dan is the soundtrack for many moments in my life.  Seeing them perform several years ago is a highlight in a life filled with concerts and I will always treasure it.  Rest in Peace, Walter.  And I pray peace, comfort and solace for your family and those who loved you.
