I am going to stick with my yearly Origin subscription, for $100....I always pickup at least Madden and FIFA anyway, those already pay for it and then some.  Then add the other games they release like this, worth it for me...

Holy crap.   They are actually trying to redo X-Wing and TIE Fighter. 

I didn't dare hope.

Simulation elements that go so far as having to use the targeting computer and some Newtonian physics.

Here it is without having to go through the EA play event...



My main concern is that it seems that the ships in the classes are identical to each other, at least in what they showed. 

An X-Wing and TIE Fighter should feel remarkably different from each other, even if they're both "Fighters". 

It is clear that the TIE's don't have shields though, and the part of this that is cut is the CEO of Motive saying that power management and shield rotation is a thing.
