No mods installed, stock 4.12.2 version.

Wow. Shocked!

As you said, the game not only looks great but also simulation feels very good after all these years.

Damn, Star.  Those are indeed some amazing screenies.

(Whichever game that's from, I'm guessing it would make my machine cry like a little bitch.)

its airland battle, i posted them a bit further up not realising star loved the F14 so much

I reinstalled, but I can't get the game to detect my x55. Very frustrating!

My Adder heading into port:

Been playing more Elite: Dangerous now than I did when the game first came out.  The patching has helped remove some of the rough spots.  And Power Play sounds like it is going to be great!  Looking forward to next month!

Jomni, I notice the "ARM" lights are on in the third pic.  What kind of ordnance does it carry?   :)

Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

You got that right.  :2funny:

Bobarossa, if your question is serious, those lights mean that the autopilot Navigation mode and Altitude modes are armed and waiting for me to intercept the flight path and the desired altitude respectively.

Somewhat serious.  I couldn't imagine what ARM would apply to in a non-military plane.  All of my avionics experience is circa 1980 when we designed a digital cockpit simulator for the FAA.  I did the flight displays.  Lots has changed since then.

I touched this up a bit to make it more moody:
