So- what game do you go back to when theres a power outtage during the Superbowl

We have a game of "In their quiet fields 2" on the table.  Stonewall's brigade just routed at the cornfield.  Much more exciting than the lousy football game.  :-)

Anybody else move back to the game table?  If so, what ya playing?

Well I've been reading the rules for Wrath of Ashardalon and punching out the map tiles and other counters.  I'll be giving the first solo adventure a go later tonight.

Counter punching and clipping would be good during this borefest of a football game. :O

I'm using Wrath as Ashardalon as a way to ease back into gaming.  ASLSK EP1 was too much to chew off on my venture back into board gaming.

I was cleaning up after making five pounds of wings.

Was thinking about getting a scale model of a zeppelin and a roughly similar scale of a WWII Carrier to make some kind of steampunk monstrosity. Seeing as the 49ers just scored, and it's going to a commercial, I'm heading over to Amazon to poke around.

I need to get on Amazon and search a few of the game site to get sleeves for my new LotR card game.  I'll need to get 270 for the base game so that'll add up to 300.  I need to see how they break down the card count so I can get sleeve for each type of card deck to make it easier to seperate them for games.

Well I played the first adventure in Wrath and although it got a little dicey I pulled out a victory.  The rules are a little vague to be honest, but I've watched a few let's play videos and they've helped clarify some of the rules.

I was bolted to the couch after an entire weekend of driving to/from Bayonet Jr's soccer games in Fayetteville and freezing my ass off out there watching them play.  I had to get up at 0530 on Sunday to be on the road my 0600 to have him there in time for his warm-up for an 0800 game.  On a Sunday.  Pretty sure I dozed off during the blackout for a bit.
