I am seeing some bundles for Europa Universalis III and IV.  I am in a bit of a gaming funk right now and am not really playing anything that excites me (I STILL haven't upgraded my home computer with a good graphics card).
Now, the problem is, how to divide five Afghans from three mules and have two Englishmen left over.

Martok

Oh, and credit goes to Steelgrave for noticing that Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes is currently 75% off for $9.99 on Steam.  8)

GamersGate is doing a 75%-off sale for all Civilization V products.  I'm kinda tempted.

Like I said, I am tempted.  The problem is that I don't even time to play the games I already have!  Where/how am I going to find time for this one as well??!  Gah!

Martok, you don't own/play Civ 5!?  :o

I can't believe that either!

Nope.

And believe me, I'm well aware of how bizarre it is.  I, who am such a self-proclaimed grand-strategy nut, hadn't even played a single minute of the series until I purchased Civ IV, and even that one I've not played nearly as much as I ought (or would like) to have thus far.

But then, I tend to somehow end up bypassing the great/classic games in the strategy genres.  You all know how I especially love space-strategy titles, yet the first Master of Orion game I actually played was (unfortunately) MOO3; I didn't actually play MOO2 (which is generally still considered the genre's "gold standard") til almost a good decade after it was released, and I was never enthralled with it the way most folks were.  <puzzled shrug>  That's just how I roll, I guess.

Please tell me you've played the Star Trek mod for it at least!  :o

And when has this attempt at an "excuse" worked for any of use??  :))

That's okay, Martok.

I never played Civ campaigns very long.  I find them interesting at first but it gets kinda bland after a bit and I stop playing.

For some reason, I still keep buying all the DLC when they go on a decent sale.  But I never get terribly far into any campaign I start.  ???

Well it *does* work for me to an extent.  Else I'd have purchased even more games over the last several years than I already have!  :P

But...but...it's a Star Trek mod! Star Trek, Martok!
In all seriousness it's actually a very good mod. If you ever manage the time I do highly recommend it. It's no BotF (what is?) but it is fun for a while. Now go wash your hands and buy Civ5.

Nefaro, report to the principal's office at once.  >:(

I can go one better than that: I've never once played ANY version of Civ (unless MoM itself counts, which technically it doesn't).

I do own the later Civs, however; and most of the DLC for Civ5 (CivV?), so I picked up the spares from GG (after making sure they were Steam keys).
