There is also the Humble Book Bundle for Vampire: The Masquerade though doesn't have the newer stuff. Still a good bundle.

Good stuff. I'm tempted though my local group isn't much into roleplaying games, I doubt I'd ever get to play it unless I did it online or something. Still I might just because the lore seems interesting enough to read on it's own.

If you can learn the UI, rpol.net is great, and free.

And you could use Mythic Game Master Emulator and solo play it.  ^-^

Indeed, the storyteller rule system for the WoD and the Emulator would work well I think.

Like making your own fictional saga with it, in that whichever RPG setting being used.  With some unforeseen randomness thrown in, and the game system to determine outcomes.  It mentions writers could use it for a little creativity boost, and I can believe it.

I think the keyword tables, which push you to brainstorm some unforeseen twist/setback based upon a couple vague randomized words, is what really gives MGME solo value.  Although, after some initial setup, you most often use the simple yes/no results off the percentile chart.

I'm curious - how often do you roll the extra twists/setbacks/wotnot, in practice?  Not just the Strong Yes/Yes/No/Strong No results.  I don't recall the % chance of those popping up, but it didn't seem very large.

There are also a few other emulators like this.  I also picked up the Location Crafter (name?) and something else similar to these.  I recall bits of the Location Crafter could theoretically be used with MGME.  Even if only the extended word tables & such.

EDIT: Just realized we're talking tabletop in the Computer Game section now.   C:-)

It looks like nearly everything Bethesda is on sale right now at Steam.
Regardless of how good a PC game may be it will always have its detractors and no matter how bad a PC game may be it will always have its fans.
