getting tickets to see black label society and judas priest. BLS is happening in 10 days!! JP will be in march. sadly missed metallica in baltimore this past year. anyone else going to see some live shows this year? would love to hit one of the many festivals in europe but thats not happening any time soon.
Not much for me. Going to see Eric Steckle in April.
Beyond that nothing planned. Might try to see Trans-Siberian next winter with the two older kids.
Hoping to take the kids to TSO this year
Going to try to find a Seven Nations show when they come to NC
Seriously trying to figure out how to pull off the HangOut Festival down in Alabama in April
The Revivalists have come thru the past 2 years, so hoping they make it a third.
Might try for Tedeschi Trucks again this summer, too.
No definite concerts planned yet, but we usually go to the Birchmere a couple of times a year. That's a small local place that gets good acts that are no longer popular enough to fill up a stadium.
There's also a local theater that gets some pretty good national-level talent. We're going to see their Patsy Cline musical in the spring.
We almost always hit the Fourth of July concert/fireworks show here. They always bring in a couple of bands, some local, some sort of big names. (Last year was Kool & The Gang, previous year was Kenny Loggins.)
The crowd can be a pain but we plan for that. The fireworks are always a national outfit and are always good.
Just found out that Blackberry Smoke is going to be in town in May. That one might make the list :)
Went to Dead and Company last month with my boys, and Tedeschi Trucks with my wife, enjoyed both shows!.. Nothing planned in the future so far.
May be light on the concerts for a while. Time/money/venue proximity will probably put a damper on it. But I am always on the lookout for stuff I am dying to see. Zappa Plays Zappa would top the list. DMB is next. Not sure there's anybody I would have to see beyond that.

Black Label show was great.
Was Corrosion of Conformity opening?
They just played together here on Sunday, and I wish I could've gone b/c I haven't seen COC in almost 20 years. They're the hometown heroes around here
Just saw an announcement for Steel Panther playing here in a few months. Hmmm...perhaps.

a band called red fang opened up then CoC. I had never heard CoC before but thought they were great as well. overall a great hard rock show and it was cheap except for the merchandise i bought!!!
CoC has been around since the late 80s when they started as a hardcore/punk band. They went more hard rock/metal in the early 90s with their Blind album (one of my all-time favorites) when Pepper joined the band, and the two mid-90s albums are some great tunes
1984. That's when I heard their hardcore/punk stuff. They've been around since '82.
Buckcherry this past sunday night and just saw judas priest. Seen both for first time. Great shows. Saxon opened up for priest. Nothing else planned though. Ozzy on tour but didnt get tickets.
Metallica is coming this way early next year. I heard it was 250 to get in the door. No thanks.
Seeing a 4 band show co-headlined by In This Moment and Shinedown in a couple of weeks. Might go see Nightwish on April 5th...not sure yet.
Just found out The Revivalists are coming back around this summer. Pretty sure we'll find a way to be there :)
Not that I have the disposable income for it at this time anyway but I'm a little pissed I missed Sabaton in Philly last week.
Guess I'll try to catch them if they come around next year.
Blackberry Smoke is going to be in town in May! w00t!
