I just hope Will Robinson is like Dr Zee from Galactica '80.
Parker Posey is Dr Smith
God make it stop.
Hollywood truly has no original ideas anymore.

Yeah. That's what makes it interesting.

Oh, the pain. The pain!
I'm waiting on a remake of," My Mother The Car" starring Miley Cyrus as a 1965 Mustang that will go from zero to annoying in 6 seconds. Could be good.

Stop, they'll hear you! :hide:
Still looks better than ST: Discovery ::)
The LiS remake movie was better than this looks so far.
Admittedly, I'm one of the few people I know who liked that movie -- aside from the plot throwing logic completely out the window for the grand finale. "Quick, if the gravity well is sucking us down, we'll just go straight down to break free!" (...wah? Looked nice tho.)
Meanwhile, if we're still doing the thread about the worst songs ever, I have recently found a contender:
WTF?

That seems to be a very literal description, too.

I still watch it every once in a while! :smitten:
I've watched a bunch of times with my kids. I liked it when it first came out though. Pretty sure I saw it in a theater.
The LiS remake was good, in an odd way. Gary Oldman as Dr Smith was great, playing the role as truly malevolent instead of just smarmy and bitchy.

He was awesome, particularly his...transformation. THAT was unexpected.
I'm sure I saw it in a theater because I recall being highly disappointed in it. I watched it with my brother I think? -- I seem to recall us both commenting at the climax how stupid the final escape attempt was. And it could have been feasibly fixed, even in post, with a little tweaking about what they were trying to do, i.e. SLINGSHOTTING AROUND THE GRAVITY WELL! NOT DIVING STRAIGHT INTO IT! A slight bit of adr, recording one line maybe two, and some adjustment to the fx at the end. Boom, fixed. {smh}
I saw it in the theater and have it on DVD. I like it. Or at least I remember liking it.
The grand finale is the only part I don't appreciate -- well that and the refusal to use the original theme in the soundtrack (though it's in a techno-rap by Apollo 330 as part of the credits). In my headcanon though, they tried to go around the collapsing planet, and then I'm pretty happy. :smitten:
In my headcanon, I made it with Judy, and then I'm very happy.
I dated a girl once that could've played in, "Lost In Space". No, wait. Could've BEEN lost in space. That was it!
