In the late 80s I worked for an aerospace company.  They were getting big on TQM - total quality management - and wanted us to drink the koolaid.  They were passing out Koala-T Bears, which were little Koala bears that you could clip on things.  I brought mine home to my wife, and she thought it was cute so she clipped it to the rear-view mirror of her car.

In less than the a week, the head of the Koala-T Bear fell off.  Off the Quality Bear.

No, our company just did unimportant things, like bring the men on the moon back home (although that was before my time).  It was were this guy got into trouble (and that was also before my time):

We did have a lot of flight hardware around the lab, and that was treated very seriously, which is why I cringed when I saw this picture.  Violating the rules of flight hardware could easily get you fired.
