Good tune-age Star.  I'm a little embarrassed to admit I'd never heard it before, but better late than never I suppose.

Was just listening to this an hour ago:

"Like we need an excuse to drink to anything..." - Banzai_Cat
"I like to think of it not as an excuse but more like Pavlovian Response." - Sir Slash

"At our ages, they all look like jailbait." - mirth

"If we had lines here that would have crossed all of them. For the 1,077,986th time." - Gusington

"Government is so expensive that it should at least be entertaining." - airboy

"As long as there's bacon, everything will be all right." - Toonces

Barthheart

Of the latest Headstones album:

Very funny when you recognise the song.....

BanzaiCat

Revolting Cocks are right up there with the Crucifucks and a few others that don't come to mind. Stainless Steel Providers is one of the RC's best songs. :)

I'd never heard of the song "Down With The Sickness" until 2002. Went to the very first ever Houston Texans game and they played the intro to it over and over and over and over as they introduced the Texans players. Later when I looked up the song and heard what it was about ("I HATE YOU MOM YOU STUPID SADISTIC FUCKING WHOOORRRREEEEE"), I nearly died laughing.

It has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all those other forms that have been tried from time to time.

Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

I've heard this one before.  I'm guessing it's been used in one or more movie soundtracks.

"As long as there's bacon, everything will be all right." - Toonces

bayonetbrant

not a half-bad song, but the video will totally give you some serious vertigo

The key to surviving this site is to not say something which ends up as someone's tag line - Steelgrave

"their citizens (all of them counted as such) glorified their mythology of 'rights'...and lost track of their duties. No nation, so constituted, can endure." Robert Heinlein, Starship Troopers

Martok

Just play this version instead (good song, btw):

I'm loving the techno, high nrg, trance, and even the Kongos.  I'll have to check them out, thanks for introducing them to me.

Now here's something I stumbled upon recently that I can't stop watching.

"You and I are of a kind. In a different reality, I could have called you friend."

Romulan Commander to Kirk

^  Like!  Thanks for sharing W8taminute

Have listened to this one several times now since yesterday (I'm a pretty big fan of FFDP):

Also been on a Seether kick lately:

"At our ages, they all look like jailbait." - mirth

Here's another for you.  It's old but it's still good:

Just because some of you have no clue as to what the mid/late 80's were really like:

I have vague memories of seeing this song live at the Ritz in NY City back in 88 or 89. The M'Bari haircut kid was there in some form or other as well as various cringe-worthy medical procedures projected on the screen behind the band.

The next week the Ritz had either Shriekback or the Lords of the New Church/Dead Boys. I don't recall now.
Vituð ér enn - eða hvat?  -Voluspa

Nothing really rocks and nothing really rolls and nothing's ever worth the cost...

"Don't you look at me that way..." -the Abyss

'When searching for a meaningful embrace, sometimes my self respect took second place' -Iggy Pop, Cry for Love

... this will go down on your permanent record... -the Violent Femmes, 'Kiss Off'-

"I'm not just anyone, I'm not just anyone-
I got my time machine, got my 'electronic dream!"
-Sonic Reducer, -Dead Boys
