I had my Japanese Manga phase when I went to university in Japan.

One of the giants in the Manga world was Akira Toriyama who has just died at age 68.

He is probably best known in English language markets as the creator of "Dragonball Z."

In Japan he was also known for many, many, many successful Manga franchises, including my favorite; "Dr. Slump."

He had a penchant for military plastic models that often moved into his art, and I loved these. And there were even plastic models of his art, as you can see below.

Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.
