I am a little confused on which level is appropriate...I would want the digital PC version of the game and the digital expansion what-if, would that be the $30 level? Not sure I will do it yet, but wondering.

Wow that was fast. I left my comment here and they were just at $38,000. I am really happy for them because I know when they cancelled the P500 for it alot of people were disappointed including the guys from GMT.

Yes the $30 level will get you that... I'm waffling between that and the $65 level that will bag me the physical deluxe version as well..... but my gaming budget is a bit under the weather of late..... ::)

$30 level is the only way to get the PC version without a lot of other add ons.
Yeah that's the thing. It includes some stuff to be shipped which I don't need (at additional cost).
Pretty amazing that in less than a day they have doubled what they needed at $108,000, which I am sure will grow. They added more stretch goals and goodies that now even includes a ps4 version. I wonder what will be next:)

100,000 to develop a multiplatform game. I guess GMT is providing additional seed money or they plan to work on the existing code of the unfinished game.

I think though that I won't be backing the KS.... I only want the PC version of the game, well maybe a copy fer my iPad too, and I can't get just that with their current pricing scheme....
So I'll wait until it's released and get eh download only version from their store next spring.

I am assuming not since the $30 specifically mentions beta access...but not 100% sure, just my guess.

At $247,000 with additional stretch goals added....I am still struggling to make my decision whether to jump in or not......only 11 days left.
No lie, I want that collector's edition physical board version bad. But I'd probably have no one to play it with, soooo I guess I'll stick with the electronic version.

My main motivation for joining now is more about being part of the beta process to get hands on sooner:) Otherwise, I would just wait..just impatient:)

With only 11 hours to go, finally pulled the trigger...I just went with the $30 version so I could get the PC game and beta access...they seemed to have added a lot of stuff along the way as they reached goals, so decided, what the heck...

Can you explain that too me? I am not familiar with the board game or what you mean by this statement. I only play single player so I assumed it would be like any other single player game out there with an AI to play against. Was this a wrong assumption?

I would like to know about that as well.
I don't know if you're wrong or not in assuming there will be a single-player AI. But these two things give me pause:
1) Stretch Goal: "Single Player Scenarios will place you in the game at a set point with specific cards in your hand, and you will need to finish the game from this starting point. It will test your strategy and skill level as a player."
2) The focus in the higher tiers of giving away (timespan) of "free online tournament entries (up to 10 entries per month)".
I could be completely wrong. There could well be an AI for the full campaign in single player. But something about that combination strikes me as odd, so I have not invested in this Kickstarter.
A qa session with the developer, seems to mention ai quite a bit...not sure in which way it will be implemented, but they seem to be committed.

The scenario stretch goals are just set-piece starts based on a historical situation. They're just extras.

Well, it's over...didn't make the final $400k stretch goal but pretty impressive it ended with $391k when they only asked for $50k to start.
I'm just glad it reached the base goal. I didn't back it, but I'll buy it when it's near completion.
The devs sent out an adorable thank-you letter where they talk about having completed the "Funding Phase" and are now in the "Gratitude Phase" before going into the "Fulfillment Phase". :)
