Going to continue my French campaign in Civ V, and if my friend has some time play some of the Witcher Digital Board Game beta. I'm still hoping/waiting for a new build of the Sovereignity beta, and if that comes through it will get a lot of time as well.

I may finally be cooling on CKII after my gay,hedonistic, devil worshiping Great Great Grandson destroyed a nice little kingdom that his fore fathers had built up. I'm thinking a return to Baldur's Gate might be in the cards this weekend.
This weekend I am going to have a serious go at The Witcher (it has been ages since I played an RPG) and continue practicing my biplane piloting skills with Rise of Flight.
Good call on the song, Geek. If a bit dark. To absolutely noone's surprise, it will be Civ IV BtS MP. It is also possible that one or several of my Warlock MP friends will ping me for a game. Finally, Age of Empires III MP is also in the cards.
Wolfenstein, which is fantastic, some Commander- The Great War and some Pe- 2 Dive Bomber.
I'd really like some sleep. Damned insomnia. Haven't slept more than 2 hours in 3 days. Been playing the crap out of Xenonauts.

Still enjoying and figuring out Making History: The Great War. So much so I picked up the first Making History: The Calm and the Storm for 99 cents on Steam. I beleive it's on sale there all week.
ASL game set for tonight (at Great Hall Games store in Austin, TX...if you happen to be in the area). The other two regular games will likely hit the table as well: Blood Bowl and Force on Force.

Don't quite now, the game is just getting good. Part of the fun in CK2 is watching your kingdom falling apart after few generations and then trying to rebuild it.
CMBN and modules version 3, WarMachine Beta (though only one scenario for single player at the moment and have played it four times already), Steam and Iron Campaign, CM Red Thunder and possibly Command Ops (a scenario from the Greek pack I think) oh and maybe Crusader Kings 2.

He survived 2 failed assassination attempts by his father. A few years after he inherited the kingdom he was excommunicated. That's when the vultures moved in. I'm left with his granddaughter in charge of 2 of the counties of the old kingdom. She has potential so I'm continuing on in hopes that she can resurrect the kingdom.
It's hard to give up on this game.

I guess I know what I'm getting for my bday...lol, sigh.

More Rise of Flight with the PWCG -- have had lots of aborted careers, and trying to play with a "dead is dead" mentality means I don't survive 2 weeks at a time.
Am also dabbling with Cliffs of Dover again with the latest TF patch. It still catches me by surprise how different air combat in 1940 is from 1917... just way, way more challenging. Dogfighting in ROF feels like a gentlemanly polo match but in CloD it feels like the light-cycles duel from Tron.. everything is moving 1000 times faster.

The start of the EPL will take up most of Sat. morning. Then I hope to get some Rome II in but it depends on time. Then the rest of the weekend will be getting ready for the beginning of my teams first preseason practice on Monday.

I had to lower the wind factor in the PWCG settings. Most campaign missions would have ridiculous wind speeds & buffeting until I did. Dunno if I had accidentally changed it to something higher (don't think I did) or it was the default. I'm pretty sure those wind speeds were regularly so high that the planes would've been historically grounded instead of going on patrols like that.

I'm starting to get drawn into Morrowind so I'll be continuing my run through of that.
I've been contemplating getting back into F1:2013. It's just such a hassle to switch out my HOTAS gear for the wheel and pedals, though.
Hope to finish my Napoleon Total War Campaign.. I'm on the province next to Moscow, so it should be soon.. Also pushed the English out of Spain, where they attacked me from after breaking our peace Treaty.. Thinking of invading England, but not sure if it's smart.
Will probably get a few FSX flights in...
I've been playing a Cardassian campaign in Birth of the Federation the last couple days (since Anguille just had to get me juiced up for it again :P ), and am also feeling the need for some Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes.

I had to lower it quite a ways. There's a tip in the settings screen. I vaguely recall the default regularly having 15m/s winds that drove me nuts so I lowered the maximum to about 1/3rd of what it was.
15 m/s is like 30 knots. That's a lot of wind for a plane that does about 70 knots!

Exactly. Not only such slow planes, but so light and having so much extra wing area for it. They wouldn't be flying in anything near such wind gusts.
I think the randomized wind speeds in that Campaign Generator is
too random. So much that I kept getting wind speeds at or near the default maximum setting (15m/s IIRC). So I entered a much smaller value in there to keep it from going nuts.
Was just surprised that they left it at such a default. Surely others had experienced the same thing that I did since the last time PWCG was updated.
Most likely will finish writing up the grand finale to Survive Harder Season Two (vs. the Nurgles again, naturally). Might thus finally be able to start playing (filming?) Season Three.
That's assuming the new Steam upgrade doesn't keep making me nervous about losing my progress due to desynching or something vaguely awful like that... :uglystupid2:
Mostly PCO i believe i got a grip on the best way to use the controls now, still trying in vane to knock out t-34&Kv's with 41 German armor. Probably throw some quick Painkiller levels for a change of pace and going to go through the tutorials for AI War.
The only game that matters to me right now is War Thunder. Everything else is just filler until I get a chance to fly my birds and hunt for prey.
I do have some multiplayer action going on though that is quite good: Battlefield Academy with Grimnirsson and Himorii as well as some Unity of Command, and a PBEM of Dominions 4 with a bunch of really great guys over at Desura. Shout out to my homies Neconomicon&, Locathah, parone, Zramble, Dr. Quackzalver, too many more to mention...
What about your other mp friends, W8? You know, the ones who are always there for you? :P

I have to say that Morrowind has proven to be a lot like Tigana. It took a long time to get into Morrowind, but now that I'm actually starting to get somewhere, and get into the story, it really is turning out to be a fantastic game. It's awfully hard, but I'm just paying closer attention to what's going on and it's all starting to make sense.
What I'm not doing is going anywhere near Skyrim while I'm playing Morrowind. Undoubtedly if I get some Skyrim time it will spoil the magic of Morrowind...Skyrim just is way too much advanced and as long as I kind of forget all that NPC interaction, the better my Morrowind experience will be.

Well I've finally decided to take a break from Dota 2 for an undetermined length of time.
So far this weekend all I've done is torture myself looking at videos of Elite since I'll never have a PC capable of playing it.
As a result I've decided to install X3: Terran Conflict again and see if I can finally get into it.

always be Warlock. I think that MetalDog, Tuna, and myself are those kind of players who when they find a game and enjoy it will play it for all eternity even if shinier new stuff does come out. O0

Yeah I haven't been spending much time on Steam lately because War Thunder (on PS4) is my obsession these days. But like MD said if you see me on Steam I'm always willing to talk to friends and set something up. Which btw are you guys around this evening or Sunday night?
And if you want to try a multiplayer scenario in Battlefield Academy let me know. I'd be happy to set one up for us. The game is played in turns and you will get a notification of when it is your turn in your email so there is no need to sit at the computer for extended periods of time. You play at your own pace.
I should definitely be around some time tonight or tomorrow night.

If the original schedule is still good we may get the best of both worlds in a few months when Skywind releases. I'm really surprised Bethesda didn't shut them down from the start like they have previous projects, but it looks like they are going to let Skywind go.
I've tried going back to Morrowind a few times over the years, but it just feels boring and empty to me when compared to Oblivion and Skyrim.

This is pretty much what happened. the only surprise in a rather austere week-end of rather austere gaming was that I got BoS and had a blast in the quickmissions in the LaGG3-29 mostly. I find all the planes very convincing -- perhaps because I flew them occasionally in the original IL-2 -- they seem kind of familiar, but wildly improved. I love the cannon + 50 cal in the nose of the LaGG3. Such a satisfying clump of firepower. I don't get the theory of the Yak and the La5 yet -- they don't seem to have the wonderfully clutzy punch of the LaGG3. But I'll learn, I hope.
I only got the final game of Season Two partially written up; between work and traveling around I didn't get much done Saturday, and one of my favorite uncles died unexpectedly early Sunday morning so... lots of distractions this weekend. :)
