Someone who knows Scottish military history?
Michael
I watched Braveheart and played the Stamford Bridge scenario in Medieval: Total War.
I drink a lot of Scotch. And I'm thrifty.
Can you walk 500 miles?
you do realize that was almost a pun don't you?

I can walk 50 feet and fall down drunk at your door.

No. No I don't. And I'd appreciate it if you didn't point out what I almost did.
to bad.
for the 2 people that cant connect the dots MDs post is a play off of the song 500 miles by a Scottish band.
so not only was MD posting a pun he was trying to be quite coy about it.
he has been assimilated.
Not me. But I stayed in a holiday inn once.
did you perform brain surgery the next morning?
Not me but I did take a picture of Mel Gibson's statue when I was stationed in Scotland for a couple of weeks.
its so horribly executed as a monument.
Consider what you have to work with.

I don't think anybody Gibson damn that the pun was missed.
It takes a brave heart to hang with you punners.

played the Stamford Bridge scenario in Medieval: Total War.
rough translation -
'anyone from New York?'
'played the Bunker Hill scenario in Empire: Total War'
^^^
especially since Bunker Hill is outside Boston, and Stamford Bridge is in London (at least the one where CCCFC plays ;) )
I thought the battle was in Bob's back-yard. We'll have to see if he remembers.
^
heh its not a million miles away, but its not in Scotland
I can't even look at you ucg...even more than usual.
Yep. William Wallace gave no quarter.
Wait, no...he gave four quarters.
More than the Minnesota Vikings can say.

Never ask us any questions. We are the black hole of knowledge on the internet: we not only know more about less that most folks, but we pun-ish the curious.
But if you're feeling lucky you can go for brogue.

I know a lot about Scottish Military History - for those Scots who emigrated to North America in the 1600s and fought in the Indian Wars and in the Revolutionary War. I'm of Scottish descent, and have a Scottish last name. But I don't drink Scotch or play golf any longer.
But I know almost nothing about Scottish military history in Scotland itself.
I also will apologize for all those people who hijacked your question into pun-land.
If only apologizing would bring an end to it. :(
We will see a lasting peace in the Middle East first.

Puns are evil. It will be a blackwatch tonight.
4 pages and no boobs.
we're either slipping or taking it seriously.
either way it just kilts me.
It's all the puns. See what happens when you turn your thoughts to mental pursuits rather than physical? Pretty soon, you won't have anything left to get physical with. Personally, whether your junk shrivels and becomes useless is your business, but, it would serve you right for all the damn puns!
