QuoteKeurig is recalling 6.6 million of its popular coffee makers after receiving "90 reports of burn-related injuries."
"Hot liquid could escape from certain MINI Plus Brewing System units during use," the company said Tuesday. That is more likely "if the brewer is used to brew more than two cups in quick succession."
The coffee makers are stamped with the model number K10 and were made between December 2009 and July 2014. They may have been purchased at a Kmart, Kohl's (KSS), Target (TGT) or Walmart (WMT), or directly from Keurig Green Mountain (GMCR).

So they had to send out a Burn Notice.
It's this season's hot item!
Their tech guys are going to take the heat for this.
A lawsuit could be brewing.

A lawsuit could be brewing.
I'm sure it's already full steam ahead
Their defense won't amount to a hill of beans.
It'll take time to filter the valid claims
the people who are having problems are split half & half.
I have that model it makes an excellent cup of coffee. Never once have I burned myself and I've made 100s of cups of coffee. Then again I also know that McDonald's coffee is hot and not to climb into a dryer and have someone turn it on.
Sounds like there are grounds for a lawsuit
