Yes I did. Trial by Ordeal as Reality TV is not far off. I give it less than 5 years.
As I watched the video, the number of backers and dollar amounts steadily rose. :o
It's getting pushed by The Oatmeal, which is a very popular (and oddball and hilarious) web comic by the guy who did the art for this game. He's also built up a lot of Internet goodwill with charitable donations over the years.
If shipping was cheaper, I might actually throw down for a copy. It looks a stupid fun filler that could cover 10-20 minutes.

...and they've broken the Kickstarter record for number of backers (http://www.foxnews.com/tech/2015/01/29/exploding-kittens-card-game-breaks-kickstarter-record/?intcmp=features). Currently at ~119,000...and still 3 weeks to go :-\
